Flying to Incheon

I left Tulsa on June 16th and today is my fifth day in Korea! But before I delve into what I've been up to, here's a brief summary of my very blessed trip over the Pacific Ocean.

It all began early Tuesday morning. My dad and I left the house at 5:30 am to catch our 7:30 flight. Early mornings aren't my favorite, but I was so excited that I didn't really care. It felt so unreal to think that I'd be Korea in less than 24 hours.

Everyone loves having their picture taken before 7 in the morning, am i right?!

We flew to Dallas and I was able to nap some since I'd only gotten four hours of sleep the night before. After a layover and some breakfast burritos, Dad met with his crew and I waited to board our flight to Korea! And then...

I GOT FIRST CLASS! Best. Flight. Ever.

I was pretty pumped to have a space to myself, a completely flat reclining seat, a tv, a side table, three windows at my disposal, three meals, a pillow, a blanket, an amenities kit, and slippers to boot.

Three windows, that mostly stayed closed.

One of my favorite parts of first class. A raspberry ice cream sundae with whipped cream and pecans.

Still airplane food- but way better than coach!

Look at all that legroom- and my snazzy slippers.

The flight was great, with a smooth take-off and landing, compliments of Captain Beam. I actually got to sleep some and spent the rest of the time watching The Legend of Korra on my laptop. And then finally, after hours of waiting, I saw South Korea, Land of the Morning Calm, for the first time. :)

Beautiful!
